Data security company Cyera has agreed to acquire agentic access management provider Oasis Security in a deal valued at $1 billion, the firm confirmed on Tuesday, marking the second-largest cybersecurity acquisition of 2026.
The deal combines Cyera’s data security platform with Oasis Security’s non-human identity and agentic access governance technology, which manages permissions for AI agents operating in enterprise environments. Roughly $700 million will be paid in cash with the remainder in shares, according to Calcalist.
Cyera said unifying identity and data security into a single platform addresses the growing challenge of AI agents accessing sensitive systems. Oasis Security’s Agentic Access Management technology provides visibility, control, and policy enforcement across critical infrastructure, covering the machine identities that increasingly handle sensitive data and operations.
“Knowing your data isn’t enough if you can’t govern who or what touches it,” said Yotam Segev, Cyera’s co-founder and CEO. “Put those two things together and you get one system that decides what every human, machine, and agent can see and do.”
The acquisition follows Cyera’s $600 million fundraise at a $12 billion valuation in June. Oasis Security had raised $120 million in Series B funding in March. The deal ranks behind only Accenture’s roughly $3.2 billion majority-stake purchase of Dragos as the largest cybersecurity M&A transaction this year.
