Tel Aviv-based Mave has banked $34M to sell security operations teams on agents that do the investigation work rather than just summarizing it.

The October 22 announcement splits into a $6M seed raised at founding and a $28M Series A led by Red Dot Capital Partners, with Lumir Growth Partners joining. Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures, both seed backers, followed on.

The pitch

Founders Guy Eshel and Raziel Oren, alumni of Israel’s Unit 8200, launched the company in 2025. Their argument is that the security stack already sees plenty; the bottleneck is that analysts still stitch evidence together one console at a time while automated attackers move at machine pace.

Mave pulls live context across a customer’s existing tools and hands a verdict back, rather than asking a human to pivot between dashboards. “Security teams still investigate threats one tool at a time,” Oren said, arguing every additional pivot adds delay and risk.

Where the money goes

Around 30 people work at Mave today. The round funds more hiring in go-to-market and AI research, deeper frontier research and expansion outside Israel.

The company is not alone in the category. Agentic detection and response has drawn a steady run of venture money through 2026 as buyers look for something that closes the gap between alert volume and analyst headcount, one of the few security budget lines still growing while general headcount flatlines.

The open question

Autonomy is the easy half of the pitch. The harder half is proof: buyers should ask how a system handles a confident wrong verdict, where it hands control back to a human, and what it logs when an investigation goes sideways. Those answers decide whether agentic SecOps becomes a tool analysts trust or another console they mute.
